Welcome to KinderWorld Singapore International School, a place where the learner experience takes the centre stage in the educational Journey. I am Bala Krish, Director of Education (Vietnam and Singapore).
Before joining the KinderWorld fraternity, I served as an education professional in Singapore, China and Southeast Asia in School leadership, Professional Training and Curriculum Consultancy roles. I have a Master of Arts Degree and Post-Graduate Professional Qualifications in Educational Leadership and Curriculum Instruction. While these qualifications have given me good professional base knowledge, what I have gained in applied leadership in the last 25 years were invaluable experiences. Through this journey of discovery, I have come to a firm conclusion that schools are design solutions for Youth Development.
While we focus on cognitive growth through academic learning and instruction, what remains embedded in our students’ memory is the youthful exuberance that defines their identity. While the higher education destination beyond Singapore International Schools matter to us, it is with equal emphasis that we commit to the experience design of all our students. We believe that the Journey is only as good as the experience.
Leveraging on the fundamentals of the Singapore Education Model, Singapore International Schools are built upon three pillars;
